Gintaras Balionis, a photographer and graphic designer, presents a series of photographs in which the theme of the nude is revealed using modern technologies and creative composition. His work is characterized by a subtle aesthetic feeling and a deep understanding of visual content. The author is a member of the International Federation of Artistic Photography (FIAP) and in his work seeks a balance between classical photography and contemporary graphic design expression.
Vidas Drėgva, a master of drawing and painting, presents drawings to the exhibition that reflect the traditions of the classical school and a masterful variety of techniques. In his works, the artist explores the symbolism and confession of the naked body – from the material to the spiritual state. The drawings are dominated by smooth lines, tonal harmony and subtle emotional expression. V. Drėgva is a member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Union, a participant in international plein airs and an active art teacher. The exhibition „Nudit” is an opportunity to look at the nude genre from two different, yet complementary perspectives: photography and drawing. Each work reflects the authors’ deep professionalism and individual approach to the aesthetics of nudity.
